What is tan?

tan (toot Advertising Network) is an advertising network that helps great Arab and Arab related blogs featured on toot earn money by placing ads on their blogs.

Why should I choose tan as my advertising network?

Better stable earnings, timely payouts, flexibility and the ability to choose which campaigns appear on your blog.

How much will I get paid to run tan advertising?

All tan campaigns are offered on a CPM (Cost per thousand impressions) basis. Payments vary between campaigns, bloggers can earn between $5-$10/CPM. For more accurate information, sign in and view the details of individual campaigns.

How will I get paid?

We are flexible about payments, we can either pay you by Paypal account if the service is available in your country or by certified checks. You can also choose to get paid by Western Union, but the charges will be deducted from your earnings.

When will I get paid?

We will pay you on the 20th of the month for the previous month as long as your balance for the previous month is over $50.

What is the minimum traffic required to be able to join the network?

2,500 impressions per month as a minimum. See the Terms of Service for more details.

Will tan disclose personally identifiable information to third parties?

How do I join the tan network?

If your blog is featured on toot and meets our requirements, you simply need to send us an email and we’ll send you a username and password (which you’ll be able to change later).

How can I make sure that all the ads that will run on my blog are appropriate?

We will seek reputable advertisers at all times, you will also be able to choose whether to include or exclude a certain campaign by accessing your login page, we will also notify you of any new campaigns.

What ad formats will I have to display?

All our ads meet international standards, no pop ups, no eye blasters! Check www.iab.net for more information. When possible we will offer various ad sizes for bloggers to choose from.

Can I run other ads on my blog?

We allow you to run one other image advertisement other than the toot advertisement on your site, you are also allowed to place 5 text link advertisements.

Sometimes I accept a campaign but see the toot default banner or don’t see any ads?

Some campaigns are geo targeted, so the ads appear only if the visitor’s IP address is included in that targeted list, if not then the toot default banner will show. We will also stop serving ads when the campaigns end. We also suspend your account if we notice fraudulent impressions from your side.

Are toot default banners useful to me?

Of course! We will promote the toot advertising network only, this will help us get more campaigns, thus serve more ads on your blog.

How is fraud identified?

We take a look at the number and frequency of IP addresses visiting your blog, if it is unusual we may consider it fraud. When fraud is realized ads will stop running on the blog and you will not receive payment for previous earnings.

Is it easy to run the tan ads?

Yes, all what you have to do is take the script from your login area and insert it in your blog. If you face problems we will be more than happy to assist you, email us any time!

Why don’t my blog statistics always match tan’s reports?

We audit impressions and earnings every 48 hours for IP frequency capping with respect to repeat impressions. Usually the difference is slight. Furthermore, some campaigns are geo-targeted, so ads will be served based on the visitor’s IP address depending on his country.
